Jamie and Marc are the Lightweight Adventurers, the founders of the Lightweight Adventures Festival and the hosts of the Traveller's Stage.
With a combined 50 years of military experience, they know how important strong bonds with like-minded people are.
This sense of camaraderie is what drives their passion for lightweight motorcycle adventures, making it available to anyone who wants to enjoy the excitement and freedom it brings. They are also good-looking and very funny!

In 2010 Dylan started his epic adventure "Around The World 360" by getting on his beloved motorcycle (named Bruce) and headed into the horizon in search of new adventures. Travelling without plans, on a tight budget and journeying on a motorcycle around the world strengthen your creativity says Dylan. That creativity helped him to resolve problems ingeniously. with his film and book "When The Road Ends", Dylan can show you where you find courage to build rafts to cross oceans!
Markus Mayer
SOLO ADVENTURER
Markus defines Lightweight Adventure. Having ridden around the world ON A VESPA in 80 days! His trip was never going to be from one hotel to another hotel, but rather a real adventure challenge pushing the scooter and Markus to his limits – physically and mentally! From crossing Deserts and Mountains, sleeping wherever necessary, and withstanding blistering heat, cold, and surviving storms and animal attacks, he has done it all. Take an inadequate old vehicle plus a tight budget and set yourself an unrealistic timeframe and enormous distances as a goal and you get the recipe for a true adventure challenge!

Joe Mercer is coming to speak all things Rally. Joe works at Desert Rose Racing, a name synonymous with rallying (and raids).
No matter whether you’re a seasoned Rallye veteran looking for an assistance service for your next big event, or are just getting started out in off-road motorcycling… Desert Rose Racing have the skills, experience and dedication necessary to further your off-road riding career.
Joe will share his knowledge of the entire rally scene and anything else surrounding the worldwide logistics involved, the bike maintenance it takes and how you could get into this sport!

JADE RIDES

Jade Rides (not her real surname!) is a truly inspirational woman.

Having suffered with her mental health, Jade decided adventure was her best medicine. Heading out on her trusted WR250R, she completed a 5 month solo European tour. Jade encountered many challenges, but one in particular pulled at her heart strings. An animal lover from the feet up, Jade found it hard to constantly ride past stray dogs, so much so, she decided to rescue them! Now back in UK, Jade is planning her next daring adventure!

TRAIL AND ADVENTURE MOTORBIKE PODCAST
The Trail and Adventure Motorbike Podcast is created by Clive Barber and Noel Thom, and they are the hosts of the Creator's Stage, full of your favourite adventure content creators.

They are not inspirational, and they will not provide motivation to get you off your butt and travel the world. They are quite a good laugh though, like a couple of old blokes you overhear in the pub, and wish you were sat at their table.

Except you don’t need to because they record their conversations. Weird. Yeah, probably.
They are both residents of Cumbria and have been riding since they were children, which is surprising, as you would expect them to be better at it by now. They are firm believers in the ‘Light is Right’ message, with a brace of CRF’s between them.

Speaking on the creators stage, he will be letting everyone in on his filmmaking success and answering questions about the amazing company that he represents, Adventure Spec.
Andre
Peak Motorcycles / YouTube
Prior to 2012 Andre from Peak Motorcycles had never ridden a motorcycle. By 2014 he was riding a Royal Enfield in the Himalayas. By 2020 he had ridden in more than 30 countries.
His motorcycle exploring then stopped due to Covid and in 2021 and he started the Peak Motorcycles channel in his garage.
Two years and two million views later he is both thankful and surprised that anyone watches any of it.
THOMAS HANSEN
FILM MAKER
YouTuber and Instagram influencer Thomas hales from the beautiful country of Norway. In fact, he’s travelling from Scandinavia to be with us at the Lightweight Adventurers Festival!
Thomas will tell everyone watching all about how he makes such beautiful films and what adventuring in one of the worlds most stunning landscape is really like.
